Akbar Imhotep Tree Dedication and Memorial Event

The Wren’s Nest and the Kuumba Storytellers of Georgia held a special event on Nov. 23rd @12pm to remember and share memories of legendary storyteller and puppeteer Akbar Imhotep.

The event included a tree dedication, words from Ra Malika, storytelling by Willa Brigham and memories shared by friends and family. The event was free and open to the public. Below are some photos of this special day.
