Jane's Walk- West End Writers

We are excited to announce as part of Jane's Walk 2026 we are again hosting West End Writers, a free walking tour. The tour will visit several locations within the West End community that are associated with writers who lived or worked there. They include the Hammonds House Museum and the Shrine of the Black Madonna bookstore and of course, The Wren's Nest!

The free tour will be held on May 2nd, begins at The Wren's Nest and goes from 10- 11:30 am. The tour ends across the street at our local neighborhood coffee shop, Portrait Coffee (appropriately for the writing theme) where you can grab a brew and a snack in case you want to hang around for *tours and tales at the Nest beginning at 11:30 with the storyteller performing @1pm.

Those who go on the Jane’s Walk tour on May 2nd can get discounted same day tickets to the Nest for just $12 and will receive a free souvenir keepsake, purchase tickets for The Wren's Nest here
