Free Summer Book Program

Storytelling and books are at the heart of our mission at The Wren's Nest. That's why we continue to partner each summer with The Mayor’s Summer Reading Club (MSRC), a program for children ages birth to five and their families that takes place in various locations throughout the City of Atlanta. Every year, a city-wide book choice is announced for infants and children and provided free to all attendees.

This summer we featured live storytelling by Ryan Davis- an up and coming young storyteller- musical activities with new neighbor Musicologie and of course free books, snacks and games. Many parents were particularly thrilled to see a young person doing active storytelling saying it “reminded them of how much fun” active reading can be!
